St Albans Choral Society is one of the leading large amateur choirs in Hertfordshire, singing to a high standard in beautiful concert venues around the city and surrounding area.

With over 100 members, we usually perform four concerts a year, including one in St Albans Cathedral, with superb professional soloists and other musicians. We are delighted to work with our Music Director Charlie Perry, and our excellent accompanist Edward Kemp-Luck.

We rehearse on Thursday evenings from September until early July in a friendly and welcoming environment.  If you enjoy singing, have some musical experience (even if it’s from school days), and can sing in tune, why not come along and try us out? We welcome singers from all backgrounds. You will be sure of a warm welcome and an uplifting musical experience. You are welcome to contact us anytime. 

We will be inviting potential new members to meet us in January 2027.  Please contact the membership secretary if you would like to be sent details towards the end of the year.
